Join mignolo dance, in partnership with the Fall for Fall/Spring for Spring Dance Festival headed by Catherine Messina, and the city of Metuchen, for Spring for Spring Dance Festival on June 4th. Experience a collection of carefully curated local choreographers, and their new and existing pieces in this festival performance! The selected choreographers will not only have the opportunity to show their eclectic artistic works in our neighborhood arts community, but will also be considered for our Festival Choice Award, which offers a short residency at mignolo arts center following the festival performance. Support our talented local choreographers and performers this spring in Metuchen by saving the date and RSVP-ing today! We’d also love to see you at our affordable class series happening on the morning of the 4th at mignolo arts center.

Fall for Fall/Spring for Spring are outdoor dance festivals throughout the Eastern seaboard that began as a way to keep art alive during Covid-19 and evolved into an opportunity for art makers to bring work to the community. All donations go to the artists, and artists receive complementary photos and videos. Each line-up is different to bring more opportunities to applicants. ADA accessible performance locations and free live-streaming options further prioritized accessibility.

mignolo dance is a contemporary dance company founded by sisters Charly & Eriel Santagado in. They have been dancing and creating together for more than ten years and use this experience to collaborate with dancers and artists throughout the tristate area. Their work explores elements of various mediums through the lens of movement, and they work hard to create a local arts community that is inclusive and affordable for all creators and audiences.
